"HISTORY OF TIPTON MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE:
The front 9 was designed by Bill Diddle in 1938. Thirty years later, in 1968, Bill Diddle in his 90's designed the back nine.
Bill Diddle was a well known golf Course designer throughout the midwest. Mr. Diddle's trade mark was to use trees to form fairways and create obstacles for golfers to make the game more interesting.
Tipton golf Course has over 1800 assortments of Crabapple, Ash, Oak, Pines and Spruce Trees through out the course, creating a challenging, aesthetic Golf Course.
Tipton Municipal Golf Course is an 18 Hole Par 71.
